Additives

UV (Ultra Violet)

Provides protection from ultraviolet radiation, increases the useful lifespan of the film. The time depends on the type of film, it’s thickness, the desired lifespan and the conditions in the area to be used while different types and amounts of stabilizers are used. These stabilizers determine the type and life of the film greenhouse. The lifespan ranges from 9,12,24,36 ot 60 months

IR (infra Red)

The infrared IR additive reduces heat loss by 2-5 degrees during the night and in cold days, keeping the heat inside the greenhouse. The additive protects the plants from frost, stress and improves plant growth. Additionally, the specific IR additive provides extra energy saving when heating the greenhouses.

ΕVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate)

The EVA material increases the transparency of the film and provides high strength and elasticity.

LD (Light Diffuser)

The light diffusion additive LD, allows a part of the sunlight that enters inside the greenhouse to dissipate and this results in better growth while preventing the sunburn of plants.

AV (Anti Virus

The AV additive prevents insect mobility and some fungi development inside greenhouses.

AF (Anti Fog)

Additive against nebulosity which makes sure that the moisture condenses on the surface of the film, forming a uniform layer of water while preventing the water droplets from falling on the plants.
